Position Summary

We are looking for honest and motivated Automotive Business Development Representatives to join our team. In this role, you will manage customer leads for vehicles and services, converting them into showroom visits and sales. You will respond to web-based inquiries, engage with existing customers, and handle incoming sales and service calls related to prospects from dealership websites and other lead sources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to electronic vehicle leads, phone inquiries, and customer communications via email, phone, and text.
  • Schedule dealership appointments and convert leads to showroom visits based on department standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information, notes, and appointment data in the CRM system.
  • Track and report on daily internet sales activity including appointments and sales performance.
  • Participate in regular sales meetings for dealership and eSales teams.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to create a positive experience and build lasting relationships.

Work Hours

This is a full-time, in-person position based in St. Clair, Michigan. Hours will be discussed during the interview process.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods while working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to navigate through various departments within the dealership facilities.

Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • One to three years of related experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • At least two years of customer service experience; automotive background is not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel, and internet navigation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and work well within a team environment.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize multiple tasks, and manage time efficiently.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
