Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Automotive Service Technicians to perform vehicle repair and maintenance work in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This role is ideal for Technicians, Trainees, and Apprentices interested in a supportive work environment with a tiered pay plan and benefits designed to reward your skills and commitment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and review repair orders from the dispatcher and prepare vehicles for service.
  • Perform diagnostic and repair work following dealership and factory guidelines.
  • Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain necessary parts and manage warranty-related parts procedures.
  • Inform service advisors promptly about required additional repairs or if timelines cannot be met.
  • Document all performed work accurately and road-test vehicles to confirm repairs have resolved issues.
  • Maintain cleanliness of customers' vehicles and adhere to safety and housekeeping policies.
  • Stay updated on factory technical bulletins and participate in training sessions.
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations relevant to automotive repair work.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Michigan Mechanic Certification.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions related to automotive repair.
  • Professional personal appearance and excellent communication skills.
  • Capacity to meet company production and quality standards.

Physical Requirements

  • Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
  • Frequent lifting or moving up to 25 pounds; occasional lifting up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to walk, sit, talk, and hear frequently.
